Meet the Author: Brittny Love (Cleveland)
A Lifelong Calling to the Islands
Though born in Arizona, Brittny’s connection to Hawaiʻi began
with the captivating stories told by her father, a former Aloha Airlines
pilot. Those early memories of the islands stayed with her, eventually
leading her to the North Shore of Kaua’i in her mid-twenties. While
documenting the sustainable farming community in Moloaʻa, she fell in
love with the island’s rhythm and the profound importance of food
security and land stewardship. In 2021, Brittny officially made the
Garden Island her cherished home. This journey from “Pilot’s daughter”
To “Kaua’i Resident” fuels her deep commitment to Malama I Ke Kai
And sharing the magic of the sea with the next generation.
